From the Students

Cynthia Albers gave me the tools to become a full time professional violinist. I am so grateful for her instruction, which included both classical and folk styles and a level of investment in my success that is unique among teachers. She is a wonderful all-around human being who really cares about her students. Cynthia taught me from early on the importance of listening, and her attention to intonation really set me up for success in the non-classical string world.

My kids have been taking violin lessons with Cynthia for many years. No matter how depleted they are after school, they leave their lessons happy and recharged. Cynthia brings humor, kindness and care into her teaching. She includes music theory and history. She is a loving and positive force in my children’s lives.

Cynthia Albers taught me everything I know! She took me from a middle-school level of violin performance all the way through a collegiate level. Can not recommend her studio highly enough. Her expertise in baroque and fiddle means that students are exposed to a wide variety of styles, and if she can’t find a piece of music to keep your student’s attention, she will literally compose or arrange a piece of music for the occasion. My current career in music would not be possible without Ms. Albers’ studio.

Amazing knowledge of the finer details of violin playing and music theory. A truly engaging and inspiring teacher with both the gift of and passion for teaching. I am motivated me to practice the violin like never before and play the music that I enjoy.

Thank you for guiding our daughter through the early part of her viola experience. I wasn’t sure how much she would learn through Zoom but I have been impressed and grateful for your guidance and teaching.

We are grateful to you for your constant love, encouragement and structure that created an amazing musical foundation for our kids. They will carry this with them their entire lives.
